Get Out the Vote!

Our Branch is working with the Secretary of State’s office to help with their “Vote Safe California” effort to get out the vote for the September 14th recall election. We are hoping you will all participate in this important work!

Please follow Branch social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), look for our posts regarding voter registration and the September election, and share or retweet them. Please add the hashtag #naacpsandiego to your posts so we can report them to the Secretary of State.

There will also be opportunity to pass out literature at community gatherings; please stay tuned for information on how you can get (or print for yourself) some of that literature.

If you talk to folks about getting out the vote, you can report those activities by visiting sandiegonaacp.org/votesafe-report, to make sure (you and) the Branch get credit for what you’ve done. There is also a chance for you to report disinformation, misinformation, and successes. Submit your selfies with (properly masked) voters, and we may publish them!
