Jerome A. Robinson, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a graduate of Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital now Drexel University. Dr. Robinson is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention, a Fellow of the American Society of Hypertension, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Physicians. He is a lifetime member of the Association of Black Cardiologists. Dr. Robinson has been recognized by the state of California, County of San Diego, and the cities of San Diego and National City as a leader in healthcare. Dr. Robinson has also been recognized by San Diego Magazine as one of San Diego’s Top Doctors.
Dr. Robinson has been in private practice in San Diego since 1985 with major research interests in Hypertension, Congestive Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, and Interventional Cardiology and its effects on poor and minority populations. He co-founded the mall walk program at Plaza Bonita mall to promote exercise for Seniors. Dr. Robinson’s non-medical interests include deep-sea fishing with friends and members of the Southern California fishing club.
